Abstract
The paper proposes a reflection on technologies. The aim of this dissertation is to place digital media within the coextensive relation between anthropogenesis and technogenesis. The constitutive role of technic, along the path of human being towards the acquisition of a representative mind, is exposed both speculatively, through Heidegger’s philosophy of technic, and empirically, taking into account the material engagement theory in the context of archeology of mind. Throughout the conclusions, the way digital media do not differ from what Heidegger defines the essence of modern technic will be analyzed. Furthermore, digital media reiterate the enframing destiny by an inversion of the relation between media and subject. The latter becomes a fundamental epistemic resource for the accomplishment of an algorithmic science.
