Abstract

This paper discusses the transformations of sovereignty since the decline of the nation-state in Europe. Moving from 1989 as a threshold date, the reconstruction investigates the reconceptualization of sovereignty in the context of the Europeanization of national orders, in order to attempt to reconstruct (at the same time, criticizing it) the alternative between nationalism and constitutional pluralism.
