Abstract

How it is possible, after Hegel’s presumed divinization of the State, to think of its nature ? All the post-Hegelian German political theorists, from right (F. J. Stahl) or left (the Young Hegelians, Marx), must address this issue. Despite their (important) differencies, their reponses, in particular in the work of the German inventor of the «sociology», Lorenz von Stein, give a priority to the new concept of the «society» a typical Hegelian notion.
