Abstract
The article proposes a critical reconsideration of the contribution given by Bernard Stiegler to the philosophy of technics between 20th and 21st century. The article focuses in particular on the pivot of the phenomenological concept of “tertiary retention” advanced by the French thinker, as well as its deep affinity with the concepts of imagination and technical schematism advanced by Pietro Montani in the vein of an original reconsideration of the critical philosophy inspired by Kant.
