Abstract
Don Quixote is a cultural symbol that has permeated the Western imagination. Philosophy (i.e. Hegel’s Aesthetics) and literary criticism devoted an important and copious analytical work to understand the reasons for that strength. From a further point of view, we can observe the crucial suggestions that the epic of Don Quixote and Sancho produces in the field of philosophy of education. In this great novel we can find some crucial and innovative ideas to re-join ethics and constructivism in human relations and educational relationships. Don Quixote can be considered as a really peculiar archetype, and through this character we can understand important aspects of our times.
