Abstract

The article reflects upon contemporary trajectories of Feminist French thought, that has been recently influenced by postmodern trends which gained relevance in the Anglo-American academic context, and in particular by queer theory. By comparing differentialism and deconstructionism, the essay asks how far the critique of sexual difference can go without collapsing into the naive affirmation of sexual indifference.
