Abstract
This article aims to bring out the meaning of a legacy of Kant’s and Hegel’s philosophy in contemporary thought regarding the conception of the ethical relation. It is a matter of highlighting not only this presence within the thoughts of Hans Jonas, Karl-Otto Apel and Jürgen Habermas, but also the emergence of a critical discussion that, starting from the comparison between logic and morality, nature and community, conscientialism and ethical objectivity proves to be very useful in describing a path that leads towards ethics of relation. In fact, it is precisely by constructing step by step of an integration of critical perspectives that a rather precise and evident picture of this legacy can be taken.
